Yea this 2.40 firmwear is going to completely change my PS3 online experience. I always thought PSN was descent. I like being able to get the free themes from PSU.com

I would love to see what Rockstar could do with an exclusive Bluray to develop on. I knew that going multiplat was going to water down GTA4 alittle bit. Even tho it was still pretty good. I just know it would have probably been even better if it was a PS3 exclusive tho. Because even tho i have no problem with 360 games. Bluray discs are huge man.

I NEED ingame xmb.. im a verry social person. And not having to quit games to answer peoples messages is GOLDEN. That was THE ONLY gripe i had against my beautiful PS3. The music thing is just a bonus to me. But i will gladdly take it.
I am also verry interested to see what trophies can possibly arrive in MGS4.
I would absolutely NOT be selling my PS3 to get some DLC on GTA4.
I have already moved on past that game and didnt even beat it yet. I just completed bioshock (outstanding) and am now aimed to buy Metal Gear Solid 4 on my PS3.
So NO i do not believe DLC for ANY GAME is going to make me lose my PS3. Especially with the lineup of games commin out. (crosses fingers for new Twisted Metal at E3) Nice try tho.

I think what they mean by custom soundtracks is different then what your thinking.
I think that EVERY game will have custom soundtracks now thru the ingame xmb. Just press the home button (in any game) Scroll over to your saved music, and press play.
I dont think they will be leaving that up to developers. It will just work Universally. Kinda like on 360. That will make things MUCH easier for devs.
Nintendo will be greatly remembered once again in my home once another legendary Starfox game is released. That is by far my fav Nintendo character. Him and his seseme street lookin friends. I love ALL the starfox games. Even The Starfox Adventures one on gamecube.
I think xmb will work for all games. Probably not old PS2 games tho. But im Pretty sure if i press the home button on the controler during any PS3 game it will work.
To me ingame xmb is the single most important thing for sonys PSN. I will finally be able to conversate with people without having to quit my game.. That is MAJOR to me. Im a very social person.

Yea i had it on PS1 back in the day. It was gettin real good real fast once u finally got your powers. UNFORTUNATELY for me i got it from my neighbor, and it had a scratch on the disc that would nOt let me pass. So i had to end it there saddly. Legend of Dragoon was another great game.
I never found that game ever again.

It looks like we are having a small problem with KnowItAlls above me. First off dont follow gametsop 100% of the time. The one by my house is usually wrong.
But yea wenever it is that Gears 2 releases. It will be an amazing day (or nite in the gaming world). And november is also a great time. Cant wait.
